 This
district is named after Pope John XXIII. It is around half a mile from
the town of Arucas. Recently created and with overall access, it was built
towards the end of the 1950’s, when an initial group of 150 council
houses was built, followed by a hundred more in 1970.
It has sports facilities, a social centre, a Teaching
Centre (Cep) and the municipal funeral parlour. |
