This settlement,
of rooted Canary Island tradition, has long housed what is called the
Casa de Gallos, where cock fighting and betting continues today. From
being a scarcely population banana emporium, it has become an important
part of the town, the value of which increased when the “motorway”
was opened, leaving Hoya de San Juan in a privileged position, from
a communications perspective. |
